Tamani Solutions is an AI tools and training company founded in 2019 by Dawit Abraham. We are based in Kampala, Uganda, and we serve clients across East Africa and beyond.
Tamani Solutions was founded on a single conviction: that Africa does not need to wait for the world to bring AI to it. Africa can build AI from the inside, for its own people, institutions, and economy — and do it in a way that makes sense for African realities.
We use the term enhanced intelligence to describe what we build and teach. Enhanced intelligence is the fusion of human intelligence and artificial intelligence. It is not about replacing people with machines. It is about combining human judgement, creativity, and will with the speed and scale of AI, so that people and institutions think further, decide better, and produce more than either could alone.
Since 2019, we have been building a connected family of AI tools and delivering training programmes that put that philosophy into practice. Our clients include universities, international foundations, NGOs, schools, and businesses across Uganda and East Africa. We are headquartered in Kololo, Kampala.
Dawit Abraham founded Tamani Solutions in 2019 with a vision to build one of Africa's first dedicated artificial intelligence companies from Kampala, Uganda. He works at the intersection of AI, social entrepreneurship, and institutional transformation.
Dawit speaks and consults on AI in the future of work, enhanced intelligence, and what Africa's emerging technology sector needs to compete and lead globally. He has spoken at institutional events across Uganda, including partnership events with the Mastercard Foundation, and is active in Uganda's AI and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
His goal: to build Tamani Solutions into a continental AI company that rebrands Africa from a recipient of technology into a builder and exporter of it.
Everything Tamani does is guided by six values that are not aspirational — they are operational. They shape every product we build, every training we deliver, and every partnership we form.

We believe opportunity is not scarce. We build tools and programmes that open doors, especially for young Africans who have historically been excluded from global technology markets.

We believe technology — and specifically AI — is the most powerful lever available to Africa right now. We use it seriously, responsibly, and ambitiously.
We are actively working to rebrand Africa: from a place the world sends technology to, into a place the world comes to for technology. Every product we build is evidence for that future.
